If less time is required and there are no further questions, the Mayor/Chair will declare Public Question Period to be closed and carry on with the regular business of the meeting, or if time permits, individuals will be allowed to ask an additional question.  Also with time permitting, anyone wishing to make a comment may do so and Council may choose to respond to the comment if felt to be in the Public interest.
In the event that questions are not submitted in advance of the meeting, they may not be answered and deferred until the next meeting of Council. Also, a question arising from the posted material on the website may be asked at the meeting and does not necessarily have to be received in writing.  Council still reserves the right to defer any question if they are not able to answer it at the meeting.
